Seoul, February 2025  – Soul Airline has announced a large-scale recruitment initiative across all operational departments, including pilots, cabin crew, air traffic controllers (ATC), and ground crew , in response to a staffing shortage. To address this challenge, the airline is implementing a streamlined hiring process  to onboard new personnel efficiently, while simultaneously introducing an intensive training program  to ensure service quality and operational standards remain at the highest level. This initiative is designed to significantly increase staffing capacity  while maintaining the airline’s commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence in passenger service. Expanding the Workforce to Meet Operational Demands As the longest-running PTFS airline, Soul Airline has continued to expand its operations, serving an increasing number of destinations and passengers. However, the airline has identified the need to strengthen its workforce to sustain its growth and maintain service reliability. The airline is now actively recruiting for the following positions: Pilots  – Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of flights. Cabin Crew  – Ensuring the highest standard of in-flight service and passenger care. Air Traffic Controllers (ATC)  – Managing virtual airspace, coordinating aircraft movements, and ensuring flight safety. Ground Crew  – Overseeing airport operations, baggage handling, and aircraft preparation. Through this hiring initiative, Soul Airline aims to increase its workforce without compromising service standards , ensuring that all operations continue to meet the airline’s established level of excellence. Enhancing Training to Maintain Operational Standards To facilitate a more efficient hiring process, Soul Airline is implementing a simplified application and selection process  to attract and onboard qualified candidates more rapidly. However, the airline recognizes the importance of maintaining high training standards , and as such, all new hires will undergo a comprehensive and intensive training program  to ensure they meet the airline’s strict operational requirements. The enhanced training program includes: Advanced pilot certification courses  covering multiple aircraft types and operational procedures. Emergency response training for cabin crew , ensuring the highest levels of passenger safety and service. ATC simulation exercises  for precise air traffic coordination. Operational drills for ground crew  to enhance efficiency in aircraft turnaround and airport operations. By balancing a simplified hiring process  with rigorous training requirements , Soul Airline aims to maintain its reputation for operational excellence  while expanding its workforce.
